Voting abroad

If you travelling abroad at the time of the elections to the European Parliament, you can cast your vote at a Finnish mission (embassy or consulate). If so, you must give your vote in advance before the actual election day.

Crews on ships sailing under the Finnish flag may vote onboard the ship. Onboard voting takes place one week earlier than other advance voting.

Voting takes place in the same way as normal advance voting. A photo ID is always needed for voting.
